Teddy Santis joined New Balance in 2021 as the Creative Director of the popular MADE in USA line. Teddy is no stranger to the sports brand, as he is the founder of clothing brand Aimé Leon Dore. Therefore, he knows the New Balance guidelines through and through. One of the pairs released under his watch is the New Balance 990v3 'Raw Amethyst' (PC990TD3).
The 990v3 is made from mesh and suede, with the mesh covering the base of the upper in a dark blue colour. The overlays over the toebox and under the collar are suede in grey. Over the rest of the upper are large purple overlays, also made of suede. To give the sneaker even more colour, there are orange accents around the shoe.
These kicks are also available in baby, teen and adult sizes.
