In 2021, Teddy Santis joined New Balance's MADE in USA line as Creative Director. Known for his clothing brand Aimé Leon Dore, Santis is no stranger to the Boston-based sports brand. Teddy's handwriting is clearly recognisable in the trainers that are released under his direction. The New Balance 990v3 'Raw Amethyst' (IC990TD3) brings more colour to his portfolio.
The 990v3 is made from mesh and suede, with the mesh covering the base of the upper in a dark blue colour. The overlays over the toebox and under the collar are suede in grey. Over the rest of the upper are large purple overlays, also made of suede. To give the sneaker even more colour, there are orange accents around the shoe.
This sneaker is also available in children's, teenage and adult sizes.
