The black version will only be available at BAPE.</p>

<p><strong>Originally published on 11 November 2024 -</strong> <strong>A Bathing Ape (BAPE)</strong> and <strong><a href="https://snkrjg.rs/dR6G3O" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">adidas</a></strong> are teaming up once again to bring the Orketro runner from the early 2000s back to life. This time, BAPE is bringing its signature streetwear style to an adidas running silhouette, making this collab something really special. We've seen <a href="https://www.sneakerjagers.com/en/sneakers/bape" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BAPE</a> collaborate on the Superstar and Stan Smith before, but now we're seeing their unique touch on a retro runner.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Y2K vibe</h3>



<p>The upcoming <a href="https://www.sneakerjagers.com/en/sneakers/adidas-orketero" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Orketro</a> pack gives off that Y2K vibe that I’m still totally into. For this release, BAPE has swapped out adidas' classic Three Stripes for their iconic shooting star logo. It's a simple but powerful detail that gives the shoe that unmistakable streetwear feel that BAPE is known for.</p>



<p>You'll also spot the subtle yet unmistakable gorilla logo on the insole – a detail that anyone familiar with BAPE will immediately recognise.</p>



<p>The collab comes in three colorways. The first one draws inspiration from Brazil’s vibrant colours, with royal blue, bright yellow, and green, perfect for those who want to stand out. Then there's a luxe purple and burgundy option, adding something a bit fancy and unique to your outfit. Finally, there’s a timeless black-and-white version, ideal for those who prefer a minimalist look.</p>
