At Paris Fashion Week SS25, AURALEE and New Balance officially unveiled their latest collaboration. Japanese designer Ryota Iwai once again puts his signature minimalist spin on the classic New Balance 475 model.
The silhouette was first shown almost a year ago, but now the full campaign has been launched. The AURALEE x New Balance 475 release is scheduled for 16 May 2025.
New Balance 475
The 475 appeared in the 1980s as an all-around training shoe. The upper combines nylon and suede, with the nylon providing ventilation. The dual-compression EVA midsole contributes to cushioning. In this version, the midsole is slightly raised, and the shoe gets a more robust outsole, providing extra grip and support.
The collaboration comes with two colorways of the 475. The first is the ‘London Fog’, which combines grey and brown tones. The other version is the ‘Aloe Wash’, which uses pale yellow tones.
