Nike is pulling out all the stops for the Air Max 95 in 2025. In honor of the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, the brand is reintroducing a nostalgic colorway inspired by one of the sneaker’s earliest design sketches.
The Nike Air Max 95 OG ‘Reverse Gradient’ pays tribute to a concept by legendary designer Sergio Lozano, featuring a twist on the classic gradient design.
Flip it
While the original model fades from dark tones at the bottom to lighter shades at the top, the ‘Reverse Gradient’ flips the script — starting with white near the sole and transitioning to grey and black toward the collar.

The sneaker sports a sleek black base, complemented by layered overlays that gradually darken. Neon yellow accents on the lace loops and mini Swoosh deliver a bold pop of color, while a green Air unit nods to the iconic OG 'Neon' colorway. Each pair also comes with three sets of laces, offering a customizable look.
Nike officially unveiled the sneaker during a special event at the MoMA Design Store in Soho, New York City. Like other recent Air Max 95 drops, the 'Reverse Gradient' has been met with enthusiastic early feedback.
The Nike Air Max 95 OG ‘Reverse Gradient’ is expected to launch in the coming months of 2025. While an exact release date has yet to be confirmed, fans should stay tuned to the Sneakerjagers news page for the latest updates.

The Air Max 95 generally falls true to size. For wide feet, a half size larger may be more comfortable.
