The year 2023 has only just begun but is already full of special upcoming sneaker releases. From a new Travis Scott collab to new colorways of the Air Jordan 3 and an adidas Yeezy (sans Kanye West, of course), here's an overview of some hyped releases that will appear in 2023.

Air Jordan 4 WMNS 'Oil Green'

The Air Jordan 4 WMNS 'Oil Green' was shown at an SNKRS Live in late 2022 and immediately attracted a lot of attention. The sneaker has a white leather upper and has touches of pastel green shades on the tongue and outsole. These contrast nicely with the black overlays on the 'Oil Green'. The Air Jordan 4 'Oil Green' is a WMNS exclusive and thus will also drop only in women's sizes.
Air Jordan 4 Retro SE Craft 'Photon Dust'

Less than a week after the 'Oil Green', Nike comes out with the Air Jordan 4 Retro SE Craft 'Photon Dust'. This colorway combines different materials and patterns that give the pair a playful look. The mesh centre panel has been replaced with a suede element with a checkered pattern. Additional elements have been added to the collar. The light blue colorway is paired nicely with grey and yellow details.

The Nike Dunk Low 'Valentine's Day' should not be missed out from the list of hyped releases for 2023. Every year, Nike comes out with a special release during Valentine's Day. This year, the Nike Dunk Low 'Valentine's Day' will drop. The sneaker has a romantic look with a burgundy upper combined with pink and off-white elements.
Air Jordan 1 High 85 'Black White'

The Air Jordan 1 High 85 'Black White' is also one of the special sneaker releases of 2023. The sneaker comes in a sleek colour palette that combines grey, white, and black. Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP WMNS 'Olive'

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP WMNS 'Olive' comes in the Houston-based rapper's well-known colours. The Air Jordan 1 Low already received several colorways in 2022. Nike Air Max 1 'Neutral Grey'

The Air Max 1 model was already heavily featured in 2022, and the silhouette will receive several colorways next year as well. Air Jordan 3 'Wizards'

adidas Yeezy 350 v2

After a tumultuous year for adidas, the collaboration with rapper and artist Kanye West, aka Ye, has ended. Under the name of Ye, the two had been releasing one Yeezy after another since 2014. adidas has decided to continue the Yeezy line, without the rapper, with the adidas Yeezy 350 v2 first on the schedule. When and if the Yeezy will be released remains to be seen.
OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Grey’

Another rumour concerns the release of the OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Grey'. The sneaker takes inspiration from the Air Force 1 that was in the pack 'The Ten' (2017). In 2021, Virgil Abloh, the name behind the Off-White brand, passed away, but it looks like his designs will pop up in 2023 as well. Whether the OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Grey' will be released and when remains to be seen.
Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 'Pine Green'

The Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 'Pine Green' is also expect to release in 2023. The sneaker is a collaboration between Nike SB and Air Jordan and comes in the well-known 'Pine Green' colorway. The upper is off-white and the elements on the tongue, heel, and midsole are green. The logo on the heel has received a Nike SB makeover. The sneaker is expected in 2023 when is still unknown.
Nike Air Max 1 OG 'Big Bubble'

Finally, the Nike Air Max 1 OG 'Big Bubble' returns in 2023. Introduced in 1986, the model featured a larger Air Unit unlike the classic Air Max 1. The sneaker comes in the familiar red and white colorway. When the 'Big Bubble' will drop is still unknown. We can probably expect the sneaker in the spring of 2023.
