The Nike Air Max 1 'University Blue' has a fresh look. The 'University Blue' is a well-known colorway at Nike and has appeared in the past on models such as Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 4 and Nike Dunk Low. The colorway is inspired by the University of North Carolina, Michael Jordan's former school, and combines the colors white and light blue.
The pair comes with a white upper made of mesh. Suede and leather overlays on the upper give the sneaker strength. The overlays around the collar have been given a light gray hue. The collar has a blue color, as do the mudguard and the Swoosh on the center panel.
Classic Nike branding appears on the tongue, heel and insole. The pair comes with the well-known waffle pattern on the outsole. The Air unit in the midsole provides cushioning and comfort.
