[Update: June 25] You probably still remember the collab of Sean Wotherspoon and Nike, don't you? The winner of the 'Vote Forward' contest on Air Max Day 2018 went through the roof back then and is still a 'Holy Grail' of many collectors and sneakerheads. The Nike Air Max 97/1 is also one of my favorites of all-time and belongs to the top sneaker collabs in general in the last years. And now Sean finally comes around the corner with the next collaboration! Keyword: Sean Wotherspoon x Atmos x ASICS GEL-Lyte III!
So Sean Wotherspoon collaborates with the popular sportswear brand ASICS and in addition to that with no less a retailer than Atmos Japan! ? A triple collab so to speak!

Sean Wotherspoon
As I already mentioned, the American sneaker designer, collector, store owner and YouTube content creator became known primarily through his collaboration with Nike in 2018. The Nike Air Max 97/1 bla bla bla bla…but what many don't know is that Sean is also the owner of 2 vintage sneaker and streetwear shops in the USA. He started his business at the age of 23 with his first ROUND TWO store and is now a very well known personality in the sneaker scene. Atmos
If you haven't heard of Atmos yet, you'd better do some research quickly. The brand, or rather the retailer with stores in Japan and South Korea, has already entered into several legendary collaborations. Especially the collaborations with Nike on an extremely large number of Air Max silhouettes have gone down in history and are among the most sought-after sneakers on the market. Better make your homework guys.

BOOM! ? An extremely surprising collab actually takes place and, as you'd expect from these players, it's extremely fun, because the pair comes with really nice features and is even released with matching apparel and accessories!

Super cool, how the couple comes with a different colorway on each shoe! And there is a reason for that. The two actors gave free rein to their creativity and wanted to immortalize their roots and the cooperation of their two places of origin on the kickz! Of course, also with matching colors to the respective place of origin. (I don't think the colors need to be listed here. If you think it's necessary, come here and we'll settle this in a real thumb-catch duel! ?)

Damn…you probably already wondered when I will finally give out the release dates! ???
Unfortunately I have to tell you that the kickz are only available as 'Japan Exclusive Release'! Sorry for that… Tomorrow, June 27, 2020, the nice kickz will be released at Atmos in Tokyo. If there will be a worldwide release later is not known yet, but we will keep you, dear community, up to date! We all can only hope and pray for this fire release in our stores! ??????
