Tinker Hatfield has designed an Air Max 1 especially for the launch of the NFT platform "Ducks Of A Feather". The new NFT platform was created to support University of Oregon student athletes and connect with fans, supporters and collectors. The shoe will be an additional addition to the 120-piece "Flying Formations" collection.
The Air Max 1 was commissioned by Division Street, a marketing agency founded by Phil Knight and other graduates of the university.
The agency's first collection is titled 'Flying Formations'. This is a 120-piece NFT collection. Oregon fan Tinker Hatfield created and mass produced the digital artwork based on the Oregon Ducks. With the purchase of each NFT you will receive a matching Nike Air Max 1, which of course was also designed by Tinker Hatfield himself.
He wanted the strength of the brotherhood that exists among Oregon football players to be reflected in the design. He opted for shades of green with a Swoosh representing a range of colours. Like the duck on the tongue of the sneaker, which refers to the NFTs.
Hatfield says: “I have such a passion for the school and the athletes, and it’s a dream to work on something unique like this that directly supports them.”
The Air Max 1 will only be available when you buy an NFT. The sneaker is therefore extremely limited. We will keep you informed via our release calendar!
