For most of us, the hunt for our own pair of Nike Dunks is far from over and we're all still hoping to get our hands on a W and thus our own pair at retail price. Yes, it is more difficult than we thought. And yes, the two-colour models are getting a bit lame, if you look at all the nice Nike SB Dunk models from the last months. But Nike already has the next ace up its sleeve: The brand new Nike Dunk Low Scrap Silhouette!
Nike has given one of the most popular sneaker silhouettes of the moment some new features that give the shoe a whole new look! Find out which new features are waiting for you and especially when the new kicks will be released in this blog post!
We'll show you exactly when and where you can cop the sneakers with a little luck at the drop and also provide you with some background info on the new Nike Dunk Low Scrap models.
But enough chatter! Now let's get to the most important release information before we take a detailed look at the shoes. Let's go:

Cool rags or junk after all
Is the name also the programme for the upcoming Nike Dunk Low Scrap models? Literally translated, "Scrap" means something like "shred" or "scrap". We'd cross out the latter, because the kicks really don't look like scrap and also have little to do with sustainability and/or recycling.
The translation "shreds" is much more appropriate when looking at the chic kicks. We'll take a closer look in a moment, but you can already see in the picture above that the Dunk Low silhouette has had some design elements added here and there. Look forward to cool new overlays and fresh material mixes. Let's start with the sneaker called 'Sea Glass':
Nike Dunk Low Scrap 'Sea Glass' | DB0500-100
So let's start with a brief detailed analysis of the more summery of the two colorways. The Nike Dunk Low Scrap 'Sea Glass' comes with beautiful, bright tones and many small details that are noticeable by means of additional overlays and new material inserts.
Starting with the base of the shoes, Nike gives us a turquoise mesh here, which is complemented by a leather overlay in the same shade running across the toe area.
The typical overlays have been given to the kicks in a light olive green colour. In some places, such as on the toebox, these have been covered with small smooth leather overlays.
Another special feature of the new silhouette are the eye-catching seams, which can be found on the outside as well as the inside of the upper and quickly become a cool, characteristic design element.
Finally, the white Swoosh comes here in a double version, the black brandings on the heel and on the tongue of the shoes have got a new "Nike" lettering and the white midsole is completed by a clean, gum-coloured sole.
Nike Dunk Low Scrap 'Archeo Brown' | DB0500-200
The second highlight, which drops on 12 August 2021, is the Nike Dunk Low Scrap 'Archeo Brown'. In the same design as the 'Sea Glass', however, the new silhouette here has been given a high-contrast, colourful colorblocking.
Here, too, the kicks have been given a breathable mesh base that has been covered with many different smooth leather overlays. Many different earthy tones like green, brown and ochre give the sneaker its very own flair, which is very coherent despite the many colours.
Especially with the 'Archeo Brown' the new, thick seams come out great and the additional overlay in the eyelet area is easily recognisable due to the colour contrast.
The branding on the heel and toe comes in the same ochre tone as the heel. To finish off the design, the sneakers also have a white midsole paired with a nice gum outsole.
Below is a first on-feet picture, which shows you how they look on the foot.
First images of another Dunk Low Scrap with glow-in-the-dark sole
We've barely started writing a blog post for you with the first two Dunk Low Scrap and already the next hot info of another colorway is rushing around the corner!
The new model shows once again what possibilities the new silhouette offers. With the many additional overlays and features, the Nike Dunk Low Scrap offers almost endless possibilities!
For example, in this third iteration, the doubled Swoosh becomes properly recognisable for the first time. And the new, thick seams don't always have to come in the same colour.
The real highlights here, however, are Nike's iconic safari print, which has been placed on the heel and in the mudguard area, as well as the outsole, which can glow in the dark!
Unfortunately, the Nike Dunk Low Scrap "Glow-in-the-dark" doesn't have an official release date yet. However, we assume that the kicks will drop this month.
