The Air Jordan 4 'Where The Wild Things Are' is almost released

Nike is releasing a unique pair of the Air Jordan 4 especially for the kids. The brand takes its inspiration from the story 'Where The Wild Things Are' and adds a few monstrous details to the model.

Where The Wild Things Are

The film 'Where the Wild Things are' first ran in 2009 and was originally a children's book. For those who don't know the story yet, the story is about a boy named Max. Max has a big imagination and after a fight with his mother he runs away from home. After a while the boy arrives at an island full of monsters. Max convinces the monsters that he has magical powers and so the monsters see him as their king.

The sneaker features a leather upper in a beige colour scheme. The collar and tongue are made of fleece materials and refer to the fur of the monsters in the story. This makes the shoe ideal for winter.

The accents next to the laces are dressed in red, green, blue and pink. A dark brown element can be found above the white midsoles and refers to the figures in the story. The colour brown also makes an appearance on the outsoles, the heel tab and pull tab. To complete the pair, the Jumpman logo is visible on the heel and tongue.
