Swarovski gives the Nike Air Max Plus a crystal look

Nike and Swarovski have once again joined forces to add a little extra glamour this holiday season. This time, they have taken the Air Max Plus model in hand and come up with two exclusive colourways: the understated ‘Moonlight’ and the striking ‘Sunset’. They may be shimmering gems, but your wallet will probably be a little less happy: the price starts at 450.

This is certainly not the first time these two brands have come together. In 2021, they released the Swarovski x Nike Air Force 1 in the striking 'Triple White' and 'Triple Black' colorways, which created a lot of buzz back then. Now, three years later, it is the turn of Sean McDowell's Air Max Plus, a silhouette that has been a favourite since 1998 thanks to its striking design and Tuned Air technology.

For this collaboration, the classic design gets a luxurious upgrade with a plethora of Swarovski crystals. The ‘Moonlight’ colorway features a subtle and elegant design, with an all-black base. The crystals accentuate the wavy lines of the shoe and give it a chic look. This version will be available exclusively at Foot Locker.

The ‘Sunset’, on the other hand, is an explosion of colour. With a transition of fiery red, orange and gold hues, the upper is reminiscent of a tropical sunset. Here, the crystals play an even more prominent role, as they can be seen throughout the gradient.

The drop is expected to take place at a special time: 5 December 2024, Saint Nicholas' birthday! So you might say it's basically a gift from Saint Nicholas for anyone who loves luxury sneakers. The ‘Moonlight’ will be available exclusively at Foot Locker, while the ‘Sunset’ will be sold via Nike SNKRS.

Keep an eye on our release calendar for all the details about this drop and other upcoming sneaker releases.
