'Made in UK'
On 23 August 1982, New Balance opened its first factory in Flimby, England. To date, some 210 employees produce about 28,000 pairs of shoes a week at the Flimby factory, making it a successful manufacturing company.
The trainers in the 'Made in UK' range stand out from average NB designs due to their special quality and high-quality materials. As the name suggests, the kicks are all designed in the UK.

The New Balance 991
Launched in 2001, the New Balance 991 represents the brand's presence in the UK. Originally, the trainer was called the 'M991'. The model joined New Balance's 99x line and fitted perfectly between them in terms of appearance.
Later, the 991 incorporated special, new technologies that made the trainer unique in the line. For example, the model had the ABZORB cushioning technology in the heel and forefoot.
Now comes the New Balance 991v1 - Made in UK in a modern interpretation with a pigskin, mesh and synthetic materials. The classic ENCAP midsole provides all-day comfort and support, and ABZORB technology offers cushioning in classic fashion.

The New Balance 576 celebrates its 35th anniversary with a range of colorways, including the two new 'Green' and 'Apricot'. Both trainers come with a premium suede upper and striking colour combinations.
