This summer, the Olympic Games will take place in Paris. Especially for this event, Nike is coming out with the Air Max 1 'Olympic' that uses gold details. The sneaker arrives in Team USA colors. The Air Max 1 does not yet have an official release date. We can expect the pair in 2024.
Nike introduces its next Air Max 1 colorway. Since the sneaker's comeback in 2023, the iconic model designed by Tinker Hatfield has received many colorways. Recently, the Air Max 1 WMNS 'Dusty Cactus' was released and now Nike shows the official images of the 'Olympic' colorway.
The Nike Air Max 1 'Olympic' features a white mesh base. Across the silhouette are suede overlays in navy blue and gray. A gold Swoosh is placed on the center panel. Red details are placed on the tongue and heel. The sneaker matches the logo of Team USA's current jersey.
In 2015, Nike also came out with a special Air Max 1 colorway for the U.S. team. The release combined the same shades but brought them to the design differently. Also in recent years, Nike came up with diverse releases for the biggest sporting event.
