Nike looks to continue the Air Max 1 line into 2024. Last year, one colorway after another of the iconic silhouette was released. A bunch of new colorways were unveiled again recently. It is not yet known exactly when the sneakers will drop. Check out the first images of expected colorways here.
The Nike Air Max 1 was without a doubt the most popular Nike sneaker of 2023. After reintroducing the 'Big Bubble' during SNKRS Day in March, Nike had a taste for it. The brand released one colorway after another, from OG colorways to new variants. We can expect some new colorways in 2024 as well.
Nike Air Max 1 'Green Chili'
With the Nike Air Max 1 'Green Chili', the colour scheme is immediately recognisable. Although the outsole of this pair is not coloured, the combination of black and white evokes associations with the iconic Air Max 1 'Chili 2.0'. The 'Malachite' accents incorporated into the design add an extra touch of vibrancy.

Nike Air Max 1 'Orange/Black/White'
Here, the orange colour immediately stands out in the wavy suede mudguard that runs the entire length of the shoe. The rest of the Nike Air Max 1 'Orange/Black/White' follows the monochrome scheme we have seen many times before with the AM1. Since it still looks as good here as it did in 1987, it's easy to see why Nike is going back to this formula.

Nike Air Max 1 'Burgundy'
Again, on this first look, the shoe's vibrant orange upper immediately catches the eye, embellished with subtle pebbled details for an elegant look. A burgundy suede mudguard surrounds the entire upper, including the Swoosh and outsole. The lining, laces, tongue, and midsole are all traditionally treated white, making the shoe's orange and burgundy elements stand out.

Nike Air Max 1 'Platinum Violet'
The Nike Air Max 1 'Platinum Violet' features an understated colorway. The sneaker comes with a white upper made of mesh. Placed across the silhouette are leather overlays in different shades of beige. The transparent Air unit in the midsole offers cushioning and comfort.

Air Max 1 'Mocha'
After the great success of the 'Mocha' colorway on various Nike silhouettes, think the Air Jordan 1 High, Air Force 1 Low, Dunk Low, and many more, the Air Max 1 finally appears in a dark brown colorway. The sneaker arrives in standard colorblocking with the color 'Mocha' on the mudguard and Swoosh.

Nike Air Max 1 'Dusty Cactus'
The 'Dusty Cactus' reminds us suspiciously of the 'Clear Jade' that appeared in 2023, but seems to have a slightly more vintage look. The upper comes in white mesh. Placed over the design are leather overlays in beige and turquoise colors. The sole has been given a yellowed look, which adds to the vintage look of the sneaker.

Nike Air Max 1 'Chlorophyll'
In late 2023, the first images of the Nike Air Max 1 'Chlorophyll' appeared. A well-known colorway among Nike fans, the 'Chlorophyll' appeared on the Air Trainer 1 in 1987. Next year, we will see the poison green color also appear on the Air Max 1.

Nike Air Max 1 'Alabaster'
This variant of the Nike Air Max 1 comes in a color palette perfectly suited to the spring season, with white, alabaster, summit white, and black. It also consists of a mix of mesh, leather, and suede. Furthermore, a distinctive embossed branding on the tongue and heel adds subtle flair. The design is finished off with a two-tone rubber sole, where style and functionality are in perfect harmony.

Neutral hues seem to be doing all too well on Air Max 1 releases. Following the successful release of the Nike Air Max 1 '87 WMNS 'Coconut Milk' in 2023, we now see a new colorway of the Air Max 1 that uses the same beige tones. The upper is white mesh. Suede and leather overlays add strength to the sneaker.
