A switch many didn’t see coming, at least I didn’t: Jae Tips is leaving Saucony for Nike. The Bronx creative, known for his colorful style, has officially announced that he is teaming up with Nike. Unlike Salehe Bembury, who works simultaneously with New Balance, Crocs, and PUMA, Jae Tips now appears to be focusing solely on Nike.
That means the end of the Jae Tips x Saucony era, a period that delivered many standout releases.
Jae Tips had worked with Saucony since 2023. Over three years, he released more than ten sneakers across six campaigns. From the Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4 to the Saucony Grid Azura, each drop was more colorful and expressive than the one before it.s
After the 'Flowers Grow Uptown' collaboration launched last year, rumors had already started that his partnership with Saucony was ending. During the NBA All-Star Weekend, he was seen wearing Nike sneakers, which fueled speculation about a possible move.
Those rumors are now confirmed. Through Instagram, Jae Tips appears fully dressed in Nike, including apparel with clear references to Savior Worldwide, his own label. With this move, Nike adds another strong creative voice to its roster.
For now, no official images of a first sneaker release have been shared. Based on his previous work, colorful collections and possibly apparel can be expected.
