PUMA made a big announcement after the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. The German sportswear brand will become the official exclusive trackside retailer and partner of Formula 1. The brand is already linked to motorsports and is responsible for the tracksuits of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, among others.
As part of the new collaboration, PUMA will provide equipment to Formula 1 staff at the circuits. In addition, the brand will also handle the design of fanwear. The collaboration will start in 2024, and Formula 1 fans are already eager for it.
PUMA's subsidiary, Stichd, will exclusively run fan retail stores during race weekends. The store will sell Formula 1 licensed products, as well as replica teamwear, fanwear, and special edition collections from all ten teams on the Formula 1 grid and F1 legends.
"PUMA has become the most authentic and credible sports brand in motorsports and has the expertise to create the best products for the world's leading drivers and teams, as well as their fans," words said by Arne Freundt, CEO of PUMA.
Meanwhile, the first PUMA x Formula 1 product will be available from February 2024. You can find them in PUMA stores worldwide and on the PUMA website. There might even be a sneaker collaboration between the two in the future, who knows.
