PUMA and NOAH relaunch the PUMA Star
Do you follow the Instagram account of PUMA, NOAH or Sneakerjagers? Then a recent eye-catching advertisement has undoubtedly caught your attention. A commercial for the new PUMA Star appeared in which the tennis players and the audience were naked while a streaker in clothes stormed onto the court.
Not only the advertising, but also the PUMA x NOAH Star itself contains some interesting details. For one, the shoe is a reissue of the PUMA Wimbledon from the late 1970s. And since the shoe is named after the famous Grand Slam tournament, the design is based on the sport then and now.
Thus, the PUMA sneaker has a plain white leather upper, a stitched rubber cupsole, an outsole with separate herringbone traction and a perforated fromstrip. Furthermore, the shoe is complemented by subtle blue inserts. This is also a nod to PUMA's historic colorway.
The design of the sneaker is rounded off by the PUMA Star logo, which can be seen on the midsole and adorns the outsole. Of course, the NOAH co-logo is also not to be missed and can be found on the tongue and insole.
The NOAH x PUMA Star will be released exclusively on the NOAH website on 29 June 2023, followed by a release on 1 July 2023 at a few selected PUMA retailers. You can see which shops these are at a glance in our Sneakerjagers release calendar!
