Nike and Rockstar Games are teaming up for the first time, with Travis Scott in the middle of it. The result is a Travis Scott Air Force 1 tied to GTA VI. According to early retailer listings, the model arrives in three colorways.
It is the Air Force 1 '07. The colorways surfacing from Nike backend data and retailer listings are White/White/Fire Pink, Black/Black/Fire Pink and Multicolor/Pale Ivory/Black/Bold Berry/Fire Pink. There are no official product photos or mock-ups yet, so little is certain about the look. A palette reminiscent of Miami Vice is expected, with Reverse Swooshes and Cactus Jack branding. That is an expectation, not a confirmation.
Travis Scott and GTA have a history. Nike and Travis Scott have worked together for years under the Cactus Jack label. In 2013 he posted that his track 'Upper Echelon' was on the GTA V soundtrack. For GTA VI he contributes the track 'Hyena' and is involved in the promotion.
What we know about the release
November 19 is mentioned as the date. It is not confirmed and no region is given, so a European release date and retail price are not yet known. As soon as Nike confirms them, we will update this article. The Travis Scott Air Force 1 is expected at retailers, possibly also through TravisScott.com. Earlier Travis Scott releases did not always run through Nike SNKRS. Expect draws and limited quantities, although that is not confirmed either.
