After bringing their famed ‘Waves’ design to the Air Max 90 earlier this year, Patta is set to make its mark in the world of football in 2026 with the release of the Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 and the Mercurial Superfly 10. At the tail end of 2025, the first images of two colorways have been revealed.
While we are still waiting for the Patta x Nike Cryoshot Mercurial, a lifestyle football shoe that was teased earlier this year by Guillaume Schmidt, we can now also look forward to a football boot that can actually be worn on the pitch.
This collaboration includes the Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 and the Mercurial Superfly 10, two of Nike’s most beloved football boots. The Mercurial Superfly 10 previously crossed over into the sneaker world earlier this year, when the model received the iconic Air Max 95 ‘Neon’ treatment.
Now, the model, characterized by its high-cut sock, is being reinterpreted by Patta, which for the first time brings the ‘Waves’ design to a football boot. The model arrives in two colorways: one with a black mudguard and the other with a white one. A silver upper paired with an off-white collar and sole completes the look.
The Mercurial Vapor 16 is also released in these two colorways. Patta logos appear on the front of the collar and on the insoles. The Zoom Air units underfoot also feature a subtle nod to the Amsterdam-based label.
At the time of writing, neither Patta nor Nike has officially confirmed the releases. With the World Cup kicking off on June 11, 2026, in the United States, the release is expected around May 2026.
