Nike is gearing up for what appears to be its favorite holiday of the year: Valentine’s Day. The day is celebrated annually with some of the biggest releases. Recently, we’ve already seen the Air Jordan 4 ‘Sierra Red’ and the Air Max 95 ‘Valentine’s Day,’ each dressed in romantic color palettes.
The next release, the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Triple Black,’ takes a slightly different approach.
What stands out about the Valentine’s Day 2026 releases is that the theme of love has been applied less literally. Whereas in the past we often saw sneakers covered entirely in pink and red hearts across the upper, next year’s releases interpret the theme more subtly.
At first glance, you wouldn’t immediately associate an all-black Nike Air Force 1 ‘Valentine’s Day’ with February 14. However, a closer look reveals that the romantic theme is very much present. The upper, made from premium tumbled leather, features small heart shapes embossed throughout the material.
The most eye-catching detail of this release is the heart-shaped locket charm in gunmetal chrome. Even better: the accessory can be personalized and functions as a wearable keepsake.
