adidas has several collaborations to its name, such as LEGO and Star Wars. But also the most famous names in the music world, such as Kanye West and Beyoncé, have passed by. Now, the German brand has joined forces with a name that is very much in the spotlight: Phillip Leyesa, better known as Philllllthy. The two have given the adidas NMD S1 a new look. Recently, on-feet images of the pair have surfaced. Take a look at the images below!
Phillip has used his signature indigo blue tones for the futuristic silhouette. This is particularly evident on the centre panel. Here, the Three Stripes come in a bold blue colour, while the lacing system is sky blue. Furthermore, a checkered weave is placed on the heel and toebox, in a colour combination of blue, off-white and black.
The sneakers signature sole is combined with a white BOOST midsole that runs the entire length of the model. Over this is placed a semi-transparent blue casing that features midsole plugs and co-branding. The collar comes in a light blue hue, which completes Phillip's entire design.
adidas has not yet announced an official release date for the Philllllthy x adidas NMD S1 'Blue'. However, the collab is expected to release on November 15, 2022. For updates, keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar!
