Nike celebrates Chinese New Year with the Nike SB Dunk Low 'CNY

The Nike SB Dunk Low is without question the style of the year! Over the years the Nike SB Dunk Low has gotten a lot of striking colorways. Think of the 'What The', 'White Cement' and the 'Grateful Dead' colorway. Now we can already look forward to the beginning of 2021, because then we celebrate Nike Chinese New Year with an eye-catching SB Dunk Low.

The SB Dunk Low is of course back in 2020 and we can expect this hype in 2021. It all started in 2002 when Nike Skateboarding was founded. They released the SB Dunk Low and the sneaker immediately became very popular. Before the sneaker regained popularity at the end of 2019, the sneaker wasn't very popular for a while, but because Virgil Abloh and Travis Scott started a collaboration on the SB Dunk Low, the sneaker regained enormous popularity and the skate shoe has become an integral part of today's streetscape.

The Nike SB Dunk Low 'CNY' has a real 'What The' colorway. Not only are the colours are very wild, but we see the use of different materials as well. The colours placed on the upper part are Metallic Copper, Light Silver and Pueblo Brown, but besides these colours a lot more happens. The left shoe is a lot lighter than the right one. On the midfoot we see a giraffe print combined with a grey fake coat on the toebox. The right shoe is a lot darker. The midfoot is red and the toebox consist of gold leather. The heel of the sneaker does not now show "NIKE", but has been replaced by a Chinese symbol.

An exact release date for the Nike SB Dunk Low 'CNY' is not yet known, but the expectation is somewhere in early 2021. Take a look at the images below and keep an eye on our release calendar so as not to miss a trainer release.
