Nike brings back a series of Cult Classics in 2024

Over the past few months, rumours have been swirling about Nike's plans to revive some iconic sneaker designs, dear community. Now, in April 2024, Nike has officially confirmed these rumours with the introduction of its Cult Classics range. A short film from the brand announces that a number of iconic sneakers will make a comeback this year.

One of the highlights of the Cult Classics range is the return of the iconic CO.JP (Concept Japan) colorways, including the Dunk Low 'Veneer' and 'Ultraman', along with the Air Force 1 'Linen'. These sneakers were originally released exclusively in Japan in limited editions from the late 90s to the early 00s, but will now start dropping worldwide in 2024.

But Nike is going beyond just bringing back CO.JP releases. The brand also confirmed the return of the 'Ivory Snake' Air Force 1, which first appeared in 1996 and was recently given a retro in 2019. In addition, the range will also pay homage to the Air 180 in an 'Ultramarine' and 'Concord' colorway. The Air 180 is a classic Air Max model that was first released in 1991.

Finally, we also see some modern classics returning, like the 'Varsity Green' Dunk Low, which first appeared in 2021, and the Air Max 90 'Reverse Duck Camo', which was first dropped as part of Air Max Day 2020.
