You may remember it: Drake wearing bright orange Nikes during his It's All A Blur tour last year. Shortly after announcing the release of the 'Orange' colorway, Drake showed images of a 'White' variant via his Instagram. Now the Nocta x Nike Hot Step 2 'Orange' has an official release date.
Nocta x Nike Hot Step 2
The Nike NOCTA Hot Step 2 extends the collaboration between Drake and Nike. Drake and Nike's NOCTA line, announced in late 2020, has already introduced multiple collections and sneaker silhouettes. The predecessor to the new Hot Step 2 is the 2022 Hot Step Air Terra. It has been released in eight colorways so far and is based on the silhouettes of the Jordan 14, Air Max, and Air Terra Humara.
The latest Nike NOCTA sneaker leans more on the Air Max influences and has a chunky design. The sneaker is inspired by turf trainers and basketball shoes from the 1990s. The Hot Step 2 is also somewhat similar to the Air Max 95 model, due to its similar shapes and lacing system. The updated technology in the Air unit provides ultimate comfort.
Chrome accents adorn the designs in 'Total Orange' and 'White' colors, giving the two pairs their chic look. The mini Swooshes, TPU overlays on the midfoot, and heel tabs on the back are finished with chrome details.
The NOCTA logo can be seen on the tongue and the unique outsole is fully decorated with NOCTA's cross motifs. All aspects together ensure that the sneakers feature style and comfort.
Release
The first colorway of the Nocta x Nike Hot Step 2, the 'Orange', drops on April 17, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. sharp at Nike and various retailers. However, the 'White' colorway does not yet have an official release date. Keep an eye on the release calendar for updates.
