The year 2022, can also be called the year of the Air Max 1. This is mainly due to the 35th anniversary of the iconic silhouette. Nike is celebrating this big time! Several colorways were dropped in recent months, such as the Kasina pack and the 'Madder Root'. As the year is far from over, there are still many releases to come.
Below is an overview of the Air Max 1 colorways expected in 2022! Check out all the releases via the button below!

The 'Crepe Hemp' was first introduced in 2004, and since then the sneaker has been very popular. Now, more than 15 years later, the color scheme returns! As the name suggests, the upper is made of hemp. The upper of the 2004 version wore out quickly, which is why the upcoming pair has a woven upper.
The mudguard and overlays are made of suede and come in a dark and light brown color. The centre panel features the signature Swoosh in light blue. The color contrasts with the rest of the upper. A crepe outsole provides a retro look and completes the design.

3. Nike Air Max 1 'Ironstone' | DZ4494-100
The 'Ironstone' unfortunately does not yet have an exact release date yet, as do the sneakers that will follow it. However, they are all expected in 2022.
The base and tongue of the 'Ironstone' are made of white mesh. Light off-white suede overlays are placed on the base. The signature elements such as the Swoosh have been given a darker colour, making them more noticeable. The midsole and outsole are slightly yellowed, giving the sneaker a vintage look.
The tongue features special branding, which pays homage to the silhouette. There are also green accents on the tongue, which can also be found on the insole.
4. Nike Air Max 1 'Magma Orange' | DZ4709-001

5. Nike Air Max 1 '87 QS WMNS 'Obsidian' | DV3887-400
The Nike Air Max 1 QS 'Obsidian', is inspired by the branding often seen on a varsity jacket. This is reflected in the Nike branding on the heel and the mini Swoosh on the mudguard.
The upper of the sneaker comes in a combination of suede, leather and mesh. An Obsidian color is placed on the mesh base of the sneaker. The overlays on the base are made of suede and come in a navy blue color. The mudguards are also made of suede, but these are colored 'Gorge Green'.

6. Nike Air Max 1 Premium 'Pecan' | DZ0482-200
Nike will also release a Nike Air Max 1 'Duck' Pack, the 'Pecan' is part of this. The color scheme of the sneaker fits well with fall. The upper consists mainly of brown suede shades.
The base of the pair is dark brown, the overlays come in a lighter shade and the mudguards are beige. To add further contrast to the design, the outsole, Swoosh and laces are colored yellow. On the heel is an embroidery of a duck, which completes the entire look.
7. Nike Air Max 1 Premium 'Honeydew' | DZ0482-001
The 'Honeydew' is the second colorway from the 'Duck' pack. This colorway is very different from the 'Pecan'. The upper is again made of suede, but different colors are used for this sneaker.
Instead of brown shades, the upper comes in black, dark grey and orange. The orange color can be seen on the lining and on the Nike branding. As with the previous pair, contrast is added through a bold color. On this colorway to round out the design, this hue also returns on the outsole.

The upper again comes in a combination of mesh, leather and suede. Various pastel shades and beige colors can be seen on the upper.
