An unexpected release: adidas Originals unveils a clothing collection for animals. In collaboration with the flagship store in Shanghai, a selection of mini shirts, accessories and a luxury tote bag will be released - all for your pet (and owner).
We already knew that adidas does often come up with eye-catching collaborations - take this week's AVAVAV release as an example. Yet this release seems to take the crown.
Matching outfits for owner and pet
The collection consists of small versions of the famous adidas Cali Tee from the 1970s. Think fresh colors like pink, blue, yellow and green. The best part? The shirts also come in adult sizes. That way, owners can wear the same outfit as their pets.
Carrying case with ventilation & accessories
Practical convenience is not lacking either. A dirt-repellent carrying bag, made of PU leather, makes transporting your pet that little bit more stylish. The bag has side windows with roller blinds, so your pet gets plenty of air and some privacy. As a finishing touch, there is a collar with the adidas Trefoil logo.

As far as I am concerned, this is one of the most striking adidas releases of the year. Had April not already passed, you'd almost have mistaken it for an April 1 joke - and that wouldn't even be that crazy in the fashion world. Yet this release breathes adidas on all fronts: stylish, retro and with a wink.
