Song for the Mute x adidas SL72 Pro Hits the Nail on the Head

A duo that just keeps on delivering: the Australian label Song for the Mute and adidas. After the previously unveiled adidas Samba OG SFTM-010, we now see their next collaboration, with the adidas SL72 Pro taking center stage—perhaps their best release yet.

The sneaker is part of the SFTM x adidas Originals 008 collection, which was showcased during Paris Fashion Week in the Australian label’s showroom. The adidas SL72 played a major role in 2024 and 2025, when adidas shifted the focus from the Samba to the SL72.

Two sneakers, both part of the adidas Originals line, are now also included in the new collaborations with Song for the Mute. The adidas SL72 Pro features a slightly modified silhouette and a sporty outsole, giving the classic model a fresh twist.

The model will be released in the colorways 'Retro Blue', 'Chalk', and 'Cumin', each featuring a patchwork-like design with premium suede overlays and a woven textile base. Tonal rope laces, co-branding on the tongue, and subtly stitched Three Stripes complete the release.

It’s not yet known exactly when the collaboration will drop, though it is expected in 2026. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for updates.
