adidas has designed a 'Core Black' colorway for the NMD's fifth anniversary celebration. The trainers have remained classic: the upper is made completely black. The material used for this is 'Primeknit', a finely woven material.
In addition, colourful NMD blocks are as always part of the style. The primary colours blue and red are used on these small square details on the sole. This brings back details of the OG NMD. On the blue is also written 'adidas'.
You can see the adidas logo also on the heel, tongue and bottom of the sole, all in black. The sole has a contrasting white edge. The NMD Boost Sole is known for its flexibility and the upper of the shoe is reminiscent of a sock. These elements make it perhaps one of the most comfortable adidas trainers to date.
