Gaming and sneakers meet again in an exciting collaboration between Puma and Japanese video games developer and publisher Square Enix. The Final Fantasy XIV x Puma collection consists of 4 sneakers inspired by the video game. Although it faced a rocky release, Final Fantasy XIV grew to become one of the most popular games of all time, thus no wonder it caught the attention of German sportswear. The collection consists of two designs, Slipstream and RS-X that come in two colorways each, a light one dressed in white with blue and green accents and a dark one, dressed in black and cold tones.

The Final Fantasy XIV x Puma Slipstream 'Dark' features an appealing design, dressed in a black and purple colour palette. The smooth leather upper comes dressed in a black base with 'Tapa' grey overlays. The classic 'Formstrip' logo comes in a dark purple hue, outlined on top by a thing stip of 'Perano' light purple. The two tones are used in detail throughout the upper of the shoe as well as the construction of the cobranded tongue tag, 'Puma' logo on the insole and the Final Fantasy XIV emblem on the heel. The sneaker features a light purple sock line and white sole. Tide to the laces, a purple hexagonal diamond comes as a nice reference to the collaboration.

The collection also features a Slipstream 'White', RS-X 'Light' and 'Black'.
