Nike has been on a mission to achieve zero carbon and zero waste by 2025 with its âMove to Zeroâ campaign. Its eco-friendlier product has been the most visible, delivering modified takes of the Air Force 1, Dunk Low and other iconic sneakers from its storied catalog.
Because of this, Nike has released a new version of the Air Force 1 Low that is constructed with at least 20% recycled materials by weight. The sneaker has a textile upper combined with synthetic leather overlays, both contributing to saving the planet.
The sleek black design features pops of neon green on the branding and packaging, which includes instructions on how to recycle the brown sneaker box. The sole units also have a modern Nike Grind construction that uses up-cycled manufacturing floor scraps.
