Sacai and Nike are unstoppable. With one of the best sneakers in 2019, the two are now focusing on the brand new VaporWaffle model. On November 6, we saw the first two colorways released and a total of four colorways have since been released. Now, new images have been released of a new colorway and new material has been used.
The VaporWaffle is a combination of the Nike Vaporfly and 1983 Pegasus. In 1983, the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus was the perfect running shoe for everyone. The sole contained an Air Unit to mimic the motion and speed of flying. The Nike Vaporfly is a relatively new shoe. In fact, it was first released in 2017. Due to the advanced technology contained in the sneaker, the Vaporfly has received a claim from the World Athletics. This is because the shoe could be a form of technology doping. This gives the athletes an unfair advantage.

Like previous releases, the base of the sneaker was made of mesh. This will be replaced by Nylon for the upcoming releases. This will make the sneaker a bit warmer during the winter. Different shades of beige are used on the upper while a navy blue colour takes over the Swoosh, laces, heel and sole. Dual elements are added on the shoe as always. Sacai Nike branding is placed on the double tongue and heel. Looking at the midsole, three different colours are used: white, navy blue and beige. The sneaker is completed by a black rubber outsole.
