WOW! Two new Air Jordan 1 Colorways with history 🔥

Okay, that the Air Jordan 1 hype is shooting up this year should be clear to everyone by now. Especially the high-top version is more popular than ever, and is always sold out with every drop. But watch out now: These 2 new Air Jordan 1 colorways, on the not-so-hyped low-top silhouette, are not really meant for the hype. With the Air Jordan 1 Low 'Night Track', as well as the Air Jordan 1 Low 'Astro Grabber', you'll get real Nike history on your feet! Except for the silhouette, this has nothing to do with Michael Jordan. But the colorways go back in time much further.

Ready for more information and more pictures? Coming up! First the release info:

Air Jordan 1 Low 'Astro Grabber'

Let's get to the first sneaker of this historic release. The first of two Air Jordan 1 colorways is the Air Jordan 1 Low 'Astro Grabber'. The pair comes with a very plain and simple colorway, which features the colours white, black and 'sail'. And here we get to the interesting part: The colorway is inspired by a model that came on the market when Michael Jordan was just starting high school! We go back to 1976, when Air Max was a fantasy and the Nike Astro Grabber was born! A shoe that is one of the beginnings of Nike's history, and was designed for use on grass courts.

Back to the details of the sneakers:
The Air Jordan 1 Low 'Astro Grabber' honors the original construction and colorblocking of the Nike Astro Grabber and comes with a white leather base, 'sail'-colored suede overlays, a base in the midfoot area in the same color. Also there is a contrasting black swoosh. As well as a black Jumpman branding on the tongue. A 'sail'-coloured midsole and a black outsole complete the look.

Air Jordan 1 Low 'Night Track'

The next highlight will be a strong AJ1 Low in metallic silver and red, which will also honour a very iconic model from the 70s. The Nike Tailwind 'Night Track'! As you can probably guess now, the running shoe came in the same color scheme as the Air Jordan 1 Low 'Night Track'. The Nike Tailwind found its way into the stores already in 1979. But the 'Night Track' colorway did not. It was only given away to friends & family, respectively to famous people like Michael Jackson and David Hasselhoff. The colorway was then made accessible to everyone by a worldwide release several decades later, in 2012.

Let's get down to the details of the couple:
Just like the 'Night Track', this Air Jordan 1 Colorway comes with a leather upper in metallic silver, as well as nylon in the same color under the sockliner. The same silver base gives the whole thing a clean look, and supports the deep red we can find on the swoosh and the sockliner. Here the sneaker also has a 'sail'-coloured midsole, a black outsole and a black coloured Jumpman on the tongue.

My conclusion on the two Air Jordan 1 colorways:

If any of you have come across one of my blog posts before, he/she should know that I always rely on a good background and especially on new releases that go back in the brand history. For example, just like I love every Air Max release that honors its ancestors or gets a re-release, I also celebrate the idea behind this Jordan release. And if the transfer of the colorways to the two Air Jordan 1 models looks so good, I can only say that this is a MUST-COP! 🙏🏼

Before you leave, there are of course more pictures of the two jewels for you! ENJOY!
