The Off-White x Nike Rubber Dunk 'University Blue' is a part of three different colorways that were released globally differently. After the legendary release of his "The Ten" collection, Virgil Abloh has gone a different route with his designs this year, taking the DIY theme on his kicks even further. For example, we celebrated this with Off-White Air Jordan 5, where you can cut out circles from the upper of the sneaker. Although many of his designs are different than before, every Off-White sneaker still sells out in no time and it looks like we're lucky to see a lot more from the designer in the sneaker game.
Off-White x Nike Rubber Dunk 'University Blue'
Visually, white mesh and white rubber cover the base of the sneaker. Over this white base are then shimmering silver overlays that are very similar to the overlays of the Nike P-6000. The midfoot features the outline of the Swoosh in blue, which is also made of rubber.
Of course, the classic Off-White details are again incorporated into the design of the sneaker. The Off-White text is on the inside and on the laces we get an orange hangtag. The sneaker is rounded off by a rubber outsole.
