Nike Dunk expands their collection with the Nike Dunk Low University Blue. Both the High and Low versions of the iconic silhouette have become mega popular, but with this sneaker it's really the colorway that seems to draw all the attention.
Just like the Nike Dunk Low Coast which dropped in January 2021, the new Dunk Low has appeared with a white and blue colourblocking. This time with a University Blue colour that is prominent in Nike's history. This colour refers to Michael Jordan's collegiate days at Chapel Hill in North Carolina. There MJ started his basketball career with his light blue uniform.
As a tribute to Michael Jordan and the university, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High ‘University Blue’ came out this year. This is believed by some to be the best Air Jordan design of 2021.

Nike Dunk Low has been releasing Dunks since 1985 and they continue to amaze us in recent years, so whether the University Blue kicks will be 'the best design of the year' remains to be seen. The silhouette is super clean though! The kicks have a white leather base on the sides, toes, ankle collar and tongue. This is combined with blue overlays and branding, like the Nike Swoosh logo on the sides and Nike branding on the tongue. You can also see the two colours complementing each other on the rubber soles.
