Who would have known that plant-based sneakers could be so hot. Check out the Nike Air Max Cork pack here!

Environmentally friendly, sustainable choices have been a focus for Nike for quite some time. Nike Sportswear has now included the well-known Air Max in the popular 'Plant Based' Pack. Designer Sergio Lozano proves to us that sustainable sneakers can look super stylish. This Nike Air Max Cork pack features delicious Air Max silhouettes, including the colours navy, pink and ecru. Read on for the details!

Navy – Air Max 95 'Cork'

Nike's plant-based pack consists of a series of shoes that honour the natural sources of dyes and various sustainable fabrics. The Air Max 95 'Cork' is seen here in a navy colorway that has a denim look. You can clearly see that the entire sneaker is based on the life of a plant. The bottom of the shoe looks like earth and on the tongue you can see an embroidered plant and the upper construction is a mix of canvas and cork. The bronze stitching provides a fine contrast here, as is usually seen on denim clothing.

Ecru – Air Max 95 'Cork'

This ecru Air Max is lined in wheat colours. There is also a plant embroidered on the tongue. The swooshes on the upper of the shoe have an orange tint that reminds you of the 'tan' colourway. The details on the tongue and the outsole have a cork construction, just like the other designs. The midsoles do not have plant-inspired elements, like the other Air Max silhoutes. Still, the sneaker is just as fire as the rest.

Pink – Air Max 90 'Cork'

In contrast to the dark navy and ecru colourways, this look is much more spring-appropriate, with a light pink colouring all over the sneaker. Both the heel and the Swoosh are made of cork. Both have colourful and abstract speckles incorporated into them. On the sole, recycled material has been used, of which the dark brown looks like normal material at first sight. The sneaker is almost entirely in pink. The only colour deviations are the brown mesh lining, white midsole and green embroidery.

As usual, these Air Max kicks will drop at Nike and selected retailers. For now, it is only a matter of time until the release date is known, but we will keep you posted on all the details. So keep an eye on our news page and release calendar!
