2022 is not only the year of the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1, but the Air Max 1 is also celebrating an anniversary. As the Air Max 1 is 35 years old, Nike is celebrating with a wide range of unique new colorways. These include the Nike Air Max 1 Premium 'Dirty Denim', which combines suede with denim.
Different premium materials and blue tones are combined on the sneaker. The toebox and mudguards are made of dusty suede and have been given a light turquoise color. The overlays on the centre panel, heel and tongue are made of light blue denim.
The Swoosh has been given a 'Deep Royal Blue' color as has the lining and the logo on the tongue. The midsole comes in a yellowed color, creating a 'worn' look. The gum outsole completes the retro design.
