On Friday 21 October 2022 at 10am, two colorways of the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 'Performance Art' pack will release. Joe Freshgoods is no stranger to New Balance, having released several colorways for the 9060 lately, among others. Now they have unleashed their creativity on the 993. Reportedly, the 'Performance Art' pack is the "final chapter of this colour story".

Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 'Sage' | MR993JG1 - WR993JG1
The first colouway is the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 'Sage', a striking colorway due to its pastel green colour. Back in September 2022, we could get a first look at the design. The pairs will release in women's and men's sizes and will both feature the exact same look.
The upper comes in a combination of mesh and suede. The mesh is placed on the base and the suede on the overlays, especially the suede stands out because of its green colour. The difference in material adds depth to the model.
Several signature details can be seen on the design such as the standard New Balance 993 Made in USA branding on the tongue, the 'N' logo on the centre panel and the JFG logo on the heel.
Finally, the sneaker has an ABZORB midsole that comes in a combination of green and vintage pink. The green rubber outsole rounds off the entire design.
Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 'Arctic Blue' | MR993JF1 - WR993JF1
Like the 'Sage', the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 'Arctic Blue' colorway has suede overlays and a mesh base. A few days ago in October 2022, we shared on-foot images with you and now its time for you to get the kicks yourself!
The grey mesh base is more visible than on the previous colorway, giving extra contrast to the overlays. The thoughts behind the design can be read on the included 'Performance Art' labels.
The front of the midsole has been given a yellowed colour, creating an aged look. The back comes in a blue colour, which is also placed on the outsole. This completes the blue look.
