New Balance and Stone Island have been working together since 2021. The two have already released a couple of nice sneakers and collections, think of their 2022 football collection.
The Stone Island x New Balance 574 Legacy 'Green' is a nice follow-up to the football collection. Indeed, the military look of the previous collaboration is very much in evidence with this 574 Legacy 'Green'. The look is created by the heavy use of green combined with the different materials. We see the Stone Island branding placed on the tongue:
A variety of materials can be spotted in this collaboration. For example, the shoe uses olive green suede overlays, a billowy light green tongue, a heel collar made of a fluffy white fabric and, finally, an upper made of ripstop. Ripstop is an extra-strong form of textile used in work trousers, among other things.
