Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle 'Sail' | DD1875-100
The 'Sail' is one of the colorways created by Chitose Abe. The sneaker combines elements of the 1983 Nike Vaporfly and Pegasus.
The 'Sail' has a white nylon base with accents of off-white suede and leather overlays. Just like the swoosh that is placed on the middle panel.
Striking details are the double elements. The shoe has a double tongue, swoosh, sole and laces. Branding comes in the form of mini swooshes on the heel loops, the Nike Sacai branding on the heel and printed insoles.
The Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle 'Sail' is elevated with the special midsole. This is characterised by the lip at the heel combined with a rubber waffle sole.
Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle 'Black' | DD1875-001
The 'Black' colorway of the Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle will also be released on Thursday, March 10. The black colours are placed on the same silhouette as the 'Sail'. With this, this sneaker also adds to the collection of Chitose Abe.
Except for the white double tongue tag and grey branding, the entire upper comes in the colour black. The sneaker features also suede and leather overlays on a nylon base.
Just like the 'Sail', this sneaker has the double elements. The lightly printed double swoosh is slightly more visible on this colorway.
The signature midsole is also evident in this colorway. In addition, the gum outsole provides extra comfort.
