The Nike Air Trainer 1 is a well known and classic Nike model. The silhouette was designed by Tinker Hatfield and was first released in 1987 in a 'Chlorophyll' colorway. This SP version gives the classic a new look.
The strap that crosses the forefoot has been redesigned. Leather has been replaced by canvas and now includes a plastic buckle. In addition, the model has a high fit and the shoe is made of the materials mesh and leather. The Swoosh can be seen on the middle and is coloured light green.
On the upper, the colours dark and light blue are used alternately, making the different materials stand out more. The strap and lacing comes in a deeper purple colour, as well as the outsole and Nike Air branding on the heel.
A yellowed midsole gives the shoe a retro look. Lastly, silver strips run across the model, which reflect in the dark.
