The Nike Air Max 1 'Urawa' returns. In 2004, Nike came out with the 'Urawa' colorway, inspired by the home jersey of the Japanese football team. The trainer is a popular colorway with OG sneaker fans and on Monday 2 October 2023, the Japanese team's away team's home shirt will also get its own Air Max 1.

Nike Air Max 1 'Urawa' - 2023 - FD9081-001
In 2004, Nike first teamed up with Japanese football team Urawa Red Diamonds, also known as Urawa Dragons. The Nike Air Max 1 'Urawa' came dressed in the colours of the team's home jersey and coloured red, grey and yellow. Since its 2004 release, the colorway has become a very popular one among OG sneaker fans.
On 2 October 2023, the 'Uruwa' returns - this time in the colours of the Urawa Red Diamonds' away team's outfit. Unlike its predecessor, the sneaker has a fairly low-key look. The away shirt comes in white and grey and these have also been brought back on the new Air Max 1 colorway.
The upper is composed of leather and mesh. The toe cap and collar come in a black colour and contrast well with the white and light grey overlays. The centre panel features the Swoosh and colours white here. The Nike Air logo on the tongue colours gold and has a metallic finish.
The lace eyelets and Air unit have been given a striking red colour, hinting at the Red Diamonds logo. On the heel, the Nike Air logo has been replaced with the Urawa Dragon logo.
