Black overlays give the sneaker sturdiness. On the heel is the Nike logo, it has a shiny finish here. The black, leather tongue label has the Nike logo printed on it. The '86 variant of the Air Max 1 comes with an enlarged Air unit which provides cushioning and comfort.
