A while ago we got a look at the newest member of the New Balance 990 family, the V6. Aimé Leon Dore founder and creative director of New Balance USA, Teddy Santis, revealed the new silhouette last year and now it's finally getting a release. The New Balance 990V6 'Grey' will see its release on the 15th of December at 10:00am.

New Balance 990V6 'Grey' | M990GL6
The New Balance 990 v6 is the newest member of the 990 family. It's the first addition after the 990 v5 came out in 2019. Now the 990 is celebrating its 40th anniversary so this year is the perfect moment to bring out a new variation.
The first colorway of the new silhouette is the 'Grey' colorway, the most popular colorway of the 990. Design-wise the v6 is close to the v5 but still has many differences. The base is made of mesh with suede overlays and the new sole design is chunkier than before which fits the current 'dad shoe' trend.
The toebox is also different, it takes inspiration from the New Balance 992. It's also the first time that the 'N' logo on the side doesn't sit on top of a suede overlay but rather on the mesh.
