The collaboration between Maison Château Rouge and Jordan is about to be released. The lifestyle brand from France pays homage to its Parisian and Senegalese roots with this collection. The complete Maison Château Rouge x Jordan collection will be dropped on Friday 24 June at 09.00 AM in the morning.
This collection consists of an Air Jordan 2 High 'Orange and Sail', Air Jordan Series Mid 'Sail', Air Jordan Series Mid 'Brown Basalt' and a line of apparel. To help you score one of the items, we have made a list of all the shops.
Maison Château Rouge x Air Jordan 2 High | DO5254-180
The Maison Chateau Rouge x Air Jordan 2 High 'Orange and Sail' is the showpiece of the collection. This sneaker features multiple motifs inspired by African art. As a result, the upper contains several unique patterns and textures. The Jordan colours are mainly sail with salmon-colored and brown detailing.
The overlays at the midfoot are covered in white leather with an embossed pattern. The same overlay, but at the lace-up, features a brown and white striped pattern.
Orange details can be found on the nose, heel and outsole. The sneaker also features open stitching on the tongue and the middle panel, which are also coloured orange. The label under the tongue of the left shoe contains the text 'United Youth International'. On the right shoe, it reads 'Chicago Dakar Paris'. On the right heel it also says 'Maison Château Rouge', while the left shoe has the normal 'Nike' branding.
This silhouette also gets released in Preschool and Toddler sizes.
Maison Château Rouge x Air Jordan Series Mid 'Sail' | DO5247-122
The Maison Château Rouge x Air Jordan Series Mid has a vintage look. Just like the Jordan 2, the shoe contains a mix of materials and textures that refer to the roots of the Parisian fashion brand.
The toebox and heel are lined in smooth leather that is off-white in colour. The overlays on the mid-panel are also white leather. However, this panel also features an embossed pattern that was also seen on the MCR x Jordan 2. The midfoot also features the previously seen brown and white striped pattern.
The sneaker also contains several small details. On the heel, for example, you will find a logo that says: "UNITED YOUTH INTERNATIONAL". This is in celebration of global youth culture.
The Jordan also has yellow details on the tongue and above the midsole. The midsole itself is cream-coloured, which gives the sneaker the popular aged, vintage look.
Maison Château Rouge x Air Jordan Series Mid 'Brown Basalt' | DO5247-212
The final sneaker of the Maison Château Rouge x Air Jordan collection is the Series Mid 'Brown Basalt'. This shoe is exactly the same as Series Mid 'Sail' only in a dark brown version.
Again, the upper is a combination of smooth and textured leather. The stitching is white and red, making it stand out on the brown leather base.
