JJJJound and ASCIS come together for the first time and release two colorways of the Gel-Kayano 14. The 'Silver White' and 'Silver Black' will both be released at various stores on August 26, 2022.

JJJJound x ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 'Silver White' l 1201A457-100
JJJJound was founded in 2006 as a digital mood board. Soon a broad community formed around the concept and the initiative gained a design studio in Montreal, Canada. Led by founder Justin R. Saunders, the brand already has several collaborations with brands like New Balance and Rebook. And now the brand is coming together with Asics.
The first colorway from the JJJound x Asics collab, is the 'Silver White'. The sneaker has a white upper, it is made of mesh. Silver overlays are placed all over the design. The Gel-Kayano 14 model was a well-known model in the 2000's. In the collab, the sneaker retains its retro look.
On the heel, the JJJound logo is set in white. The gel elements in the midsole give the sneaker a modern look and color off-white. On the tongue we see the Asics logo. This is also found on the insole.
JJJJound x ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 'Silver Black' l 1201A457-101
The second colorway from the JJJound x Asics collab, is the 'Silver Black'. Like the 'Silver White', this sneaker also comes with silver overlays and a white, mesh upper. The overlays on the center panel have been given black details, which contrast nicely with the white upper.
The midsole has been given an off-white color, this gives the sneaker a retro look. The mudguard colors silver and has abstract lines. On the heel, "GEL" is printed in the leather. This hints at the Gel technology of the Asics sneaker. JJJJound branding returns on the insole and on the heel.
The 'Silver Black' also has visible gel elements in the midsole. These color beige and color well with the off-white midsole. The 'Silver Black' comes with off-white laces that complete the sneaker.
