The Air Jordan 11 'Cool Grey' celebrates its 20th anniversary and Nike is celebrating by re-releasing the sneaker. This colorway first appeared in 2001 and made a comeback in 2010. Michael Jordan was also seen in this pair and wore the model during his return to the NBA. The model belongs to one of MJ's favourite sneakers and the basketball player was often spotted in the '95 to '96 season in the colorway 'Concord'.
The upcoming pair takes its inspiration from the 2001 OG variant and shares the same grey colour scheme. The upper consists of a mix of nubuck and patent leather. The midsoles retain their white colour and are processed with Nike Air cushioning for extra comfort and support.
The outsoles are translucent and have been given a somewhat blue tint. This makes the pair different from its predecessors. Finally, the Jumpman logo can be found on the collar. The number '23' is stitched on the heel. This refers to Michael Jordan's player number.
