The highly anticipated Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Heritage' will drop this Saturday, April 9. The sneaker comes in the OG colours that the 'Chicago' also shares. The Air Jordan 1 High first appeared in the red-black-white colorway in 1985 and as most of you probably know the sneaker was banned by the NBA because it violated the colour rules of the league. The solution: more white.
The 'Heritage' takes this inspiration and has a mostly white upper. The toe cap turns red, as does the heel and overlay on the collar. The collar has been given a black color and is, like the rest of the upper, made of leather. Perforation holes are set on the toe cap. These help the sneaker breathe.
The Swoosh is placed on the center. This one turns red here. Also, the Wing logo appears on the collar and is set in black. On the label on the tongue, the Nike Air logo appears, that again colours black and red. The colorblocking of this design is almost the same as the Travis Scott x Fragment x Jordan 1 High.
The outsole of the 'Heritage' colours well with the overlays of the sneaker and comes in the same 'University Red' color. The Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Heritage' comes with three pairs of laces; red, white and black. The sneaker will also release in TD and PS sizes.
