[Update 7th October 2020] : What's good community, did any of you happen to attend the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 MoMA Release 2018 and get one of the few shoes? If you kept the sneaker as an investment, then maybe it's time to sell those soon, why?
Virgil Abloh has really fuelled the already existing rumours about a possible restock/global release. The artistic director of Louis Vuitton and CEO of Off-White posted on his Instagram account, on the occasion of the release of 21 Savage's new album, the pictures of the sneaker that was only designed for the art exhibition "Is fashion modern", with the caption "Savage Mode".
This simple Instagram Post has fueled the rumour mill extremely, so we can at least have a little hope for a possible global release.
Since "the ten" every sneaker head knows Virgil Abloh and his brand off white. For "the ten" Virgil has redesigned ten different Nike models. The releases of the different models were all mega hyped. No matter if Nike classics, like the Air Jordan 1 or new models, like the Nike Vapormax. If you want more infos about Virgil, check this link out.
The "Details" of the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 MoMA
The silhouette is the well-known classic Air Force 1 silhouette. The shoe is completely black except for the details. The first time it gets interesting is with the laces. The normal all Black Air Force has black laces, the Off-White Air Force has white laces. On the laces the iconic zip tie is attached. However, that is not the only off-white feature of the sneaker. On the outside of the sole "Air" is written in white. As we know it from other Nike x Off-White models. My personal favourite detail is the swoosh. In a shiny silver with the two "attachments", that give the shoe a little bit of colour.
So that's it with everything about a possible release of the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 MoMA. Will it really happen? Stay tuned, we'll bring you updates as soon as there are new information. Furthermore, we now have some pictures for you, enjoy!
