Bodega and New Balance are coming together again, releasing the 9060 'Age of Discovery'. The 9060 model has been on the market since 2022 and combines styles from previous New Balance silhouettes. The Bodega x New Balance 9060 'Age of Discovery' will be released on December 10, 2022. The sneaker comes with matching apparel.
Bodega x New Balance
Bodega is an LA-based sneaker store founded in 2006. In the past, the store has collaborated with New Balance before. For example, the two names released a 990v3 colorway in 2021. This time, the 9060 gets a makeover and the sneaker comes dressed in a blue and brown colorway.
The New Balance 9060 has a chunky silhouette. The model was introduced by New Balance in July 2022. The silhouette was featured in a Joe Freshgoods collab and Mowalola also used this silhouette during the Spring/Summer 2023 runway show in Paris. The 9060 combines the styles of the New Balance 990 series with the sporty look of the 860v2.
Now Bodega comes out with its own colorway of the New Balance 9060. The "Age of Discovery" colors brown with blue and uses chic materials. The colorway takes inspiration from the previous Bodega x New Balance collab and adds different, blue details to the silhouette. The upper is mesh and colors light blue. Suede overlays give the sneaker a chic look.
The tongue is made of chunky suede and colors beige. The tongue features the NB 9060 emblem. The sneaker is supported by ABZORB and N-ERGY technologies. Several elements are placed on the midsole, giving the sneaker its distinctive look. The center panel features the large N logo. Purple details on the lace eyelets and on the center panel complete the colorway.
The Bodega x New Balance 9060 'Age of Discovery' will be released on December 10, 2022 at 12:00 a.m. sharp. The sneaker comes with matching apparel, which share the same colors as the sneaker.
